Being up that high, it probably got whack by a meteorite.

Oh, I hear you on that one. I use Proton for my email, but I use my own domain, so I had to set up all these security things like DKIM, etc. So that my messages would not be marked as spam in big mail providers. Adding the proper records to the DNS was a bit of a pain, but other than that it went pretty well.

I haven't had a Google account for over a year and a half now and I stopped primarily using the one I did have in 2019 and would only log into it like once a year.

No, there is no private way to use Facebook on any platform. The use of Facebook itself completely murders all privacy and should never be considered for use.

I followed you in 2019 and did the same thing. So it would not affect me very much either.

All social media is inherently privacy invasive because you are either voluntarily or unwittingly giving the social media data about yourself.

Oh yeah, I knew that you needed a license for this one obviously, but I did not know a mesh testic device could do that high of power. I did not know it was capable of doing so.

I just finished this incredibly interesting book and will leave the description from my book service below. "Worst Case Scenario" by T J Newman "#1 internationally bestselling author T.J. Newman is back with Worst Case Scenario. When a pilot suffers a heart attack at 35,000 feet, a commercial airliner filled with passengers crashes into a nuclear power plant in the small town of Waketa, Minnesota, which becomes ground zero for a catastrophic national crisis with global implications. The International Nuclear Event Scale tracks nuclear disasters. It has seven levels. Level 7 is a Major Accident, with only two on record: Fukushima and Chernobyl. There has never been a Level 8. Until now. In this heart-stopping thriller, ordinary people--power plant employees, firefighters, teachers, families, neighbors, and friends-- are thrust into an extraordinary situation as they face the ultimate test of their lives. It will take the combined courage, ingenuity, and determination of a brave few to save not only their community and loved ones, but the fate of humanity at large."

The SEC should have been using the proper two-factor authentication methods through an app instead of SMS-based. You lose access to your account because of an SMS based two-factor authentication. Simsoop. That's your own damn fault because you weren't taking the proper security precautions.

Oh, interesting. Okay. In that case, they are totally misusing the term.

Well then again, you expect government agencies to be secure? Yeah, not hardly.
shortwavesurfer 3d ago • 90%
Idiot. Why did they not run those searches over the tor network to anonymize themselves? That is quite frankly stupid. And the fact that the SEC was using SMS-based two-factor authentication is also stupid. One time pads or bust motherfuckers.

Monero is fungible and especially when using the one-year moving average is quite stable. The variance on either side of the moving average is about 15% and that will decrease as adoption occurs. I run a small store where I sell products for Monero at stable prices for three months in a row by using the moving average as my price point.

Yep, me personally, I am on the T-Mobile Connect 5GB plan, which gives me unlimited talk and text with 5GB of data and then no more. But that's perfectly fine by me since the vast majority of the time I have access to Wi-Fi extremely easily.

I love that this article tells you that if you are connected to a Starlink satellite, your phone will show one or two bars of service. That is a detail I have not seen up until now. Edit: According to this [Tmo News article](https://www.tmonews.com/2024/10/t-mobile-gets-ready-for-hurricane-milton/) your phone will say "T-Mobile SpaceX" when you are connecting via StarLink satellites.
