Add-ons
NoScript add-on is great for disabling any scripts running on a page. The user can view the domains the scripts are running from and enable them individually. At first it breaks every web page you visit but after a little time white-listing everything runs fine and it makes for much cleaner browsing.
First post, so this is a bit of a test. uBlock Origin is a must have extension, so it makes sense to start with it.
