The Dark Tower
i have lost track of how many times i have been to the tower. this time around i decided to take the long way, extended reading list. with the preliminaries out of the way, a theory and or question will be next. currently 3/4 of the way through The Stand. mother abigail calls frannoes baby The Chap. without trying to give away too much, The Chap is what roland's child is called in song of susanah, i believe. the recurring theme through out the DT series and other king works is, There Are Other Worlds Than These. with that as gospel, then could the stand just be another iteration of the Dark Tower series, all rolled into one? how did i never make that connection with all my trips to see roland, stu, harold, eddie, jake, ralph, etc?
I really try not to get over hyped on this news. I think Flanagan is the best steward for the Dark Tower adaptation. I really hope this comes to fruition.
If you're a fan, this probably isn't news to you. But I thought I'd share it anyway. I am really excited for this, and I hope it succeeds where others have failed.
