Hello! I'm in need of full cover tips that are like the shortest possible, I bought Una Gella x-short round, and I bought btartbox x-short almond, and they are both still quite long for me. I suppose I have short nailbeds. Can any of you recommend full cover nails that are truly extra extra short? The shape doesn't matter so much, almond, square, round, squoval, doesn't matter, just need the shortiest possible for hopefully the most minimal filing possible. This is like life or death for me at this point, as dramatic as that sounds over nails, haha. Thanks!

It is very funny imo that according to my nail polish diary, my first manicure of 2023 was cirque colors pony up, and in the brand new year of 2024 I open the festivities by wearing dark horse by mooncat -- another brown, horse themed polish. What can I say? they're both great!! Although the formula here finally lived up to mooncat's infamy. Very gloopy, needed so much thinner right out of the gate, and I don't think it was enough. I started to polish my nails about 6 weeks ago. When changing polish I've noticed my nails getting yellower at the tips. I've read that the offending ingredient is nitrocellulose, which my base coat has (OPI natural nail) and probably the other coats as well (Essie, Seche Vite). My color polish is typically a light/natural pink. So my question is, what if anything un-yellows the nails? Should I leave off the polish for N days? Filing (which I don't really want to do as my nails are pretty thin already)? Thanks and happy new year
OK so it's almost NYE, we're doing sparkles. I couldn't quite decide what to put on my nails so I went for an assortment -- cirque disco ball, which I thought would be more of a topper so almost never wear, topped with holo taco disco dust which is more what I expected out of disco ball tbh; then Essie gel couture caviar bar on it's own, topped with disco dust and topped with holo taco freezer burn. My mooncat order arrived recently and after spending a couple of hours with the most mish mashed of skittles I decided to do a full manicure with midnight rider. It's really lovely!! I do think I could get a similar effect layering elixir of everlasting life over a black polish to get this strong blue shimmer and scattered holo; but it wouldn't exactly have the same depth as this black jelly base, so I don't regret buying both 😅 alt text: a hand showing nail polish: a dark base with strong blue shimmer and scattered holographic glitter

Hey all, I have a couple OPI Nail Lacquers and love some of them. The black and purple ones are great, but the light blue and white are kind of not great. Both of them are very thin and watery and when they're ready to be removed, they can be peeled off in one piece rather than flaking like the black and purple do. Even when they've dried on my nails, they have a different feel to them. I've tried having them in open air, but even after 45 minutes, nothing happened and it was just as thin. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, I just can't figure out what.
It was so hard to capture all the shifts in color, but it’s like a rainbow but grungy! Loved the name of the polish, inspired by Guardians of the Galaxy movie. Just watched the 3rd movie recently, it was so much more emotional than I was expecting, but in a good way.
Not a mani pic, but thought you may appreciate it. He actually found a 4k image, edited it, then drove to Walmart for the sole purpose of printing and framing it. He said the lady at the photo center gave him judge-y looks lol 😂
Had a hard time catching the Holo flare in this one. This is Holo Taco Blushed Ice. The whole Barista collection they did is awesome and I find myself reaching for them anytime I need a “palate cleanser” lol.

Barbie nails! Color: Two coats of mooncat - merkitten. Base: double bond base coat Top: glisten and glow QDTC. Popular choice, I know, but I actually didn't love this color with my skin tone. Maybe I'll try it with a blurring base coat next time to alter the undertone a bit. I dunno, I’ll have to play around with it. As an aside, I also just got my Fandom Flakie box in the mail, which was also Barbie themed! Too bad they didn't arrive before I went and saw the movie.
Alchemy Lacquers Take Flight on pointer and pinky. Holo Taco Smokeshow on middle and ring. I needed something sparkly for a pool party and these polishes delivered. What’s your favorite sparkly polish?
Products: vibrant vinyl double bone base coat, polished for days soft focus snow (except not on pinky), fancy gloss glowing sand (2 coats, 3 coats on pinky), vibrant vinyl fast and hard top coat. I was worried it was a bit too sheer, but it actually became opaque after 3rd coat (on pinky). The other fingers have a blurring base coat (soft focus) to hide the nail line, which then only required 2 coats of color.
Forgot to post my latest mani so it’s a few days old at this point. Love the Holo Taco Royalty polishes, all three are gorgeous.
