But Harris has seized the idea as a rallying cry. “And now, he’s ducking debates, and canceling interviews because of exhaustion,” Harris said. “And when he does answer a question or speak at a rally, have you noticed that he tends to go off script and ramble, and generally for the life of him can’t finish a thought? … Folks are exhausted with someone trying to have Americans point their fingers at each other. We’re exhausted. That’s why I say it’s time to turn the page on that.”

According to a report from Politico's Hailey Fuchs and Meridith McGraw, the Trump team's "[go it alone](https://www.rawstory.com/trump-out-of-control-2669442324/)" approach does deny them transition funding and assistance to assume power swiftly and seamlessly, **but by balking at doing the necessary paperwork, it allows them to keep hidden their plans and raise unlimited amounts of cash without disclosing who is making the donations**. As the report notes, "if Trump wins the election and continues to drag his feet on signing the agreement with the White House, it will limit the information he and his team can access to understand current federal operations and challenges."

The first intelligence report is titled, “Israel: Defense Forces Continue Key Munitions Preparations and Covert UAV Activity Almost Certainly for a Strike on Iran.” The Top Secret document provides a sense of not just how much the intelligence community knows, but how much it doesn’t know. “We cannot definitively predict the scale and scope of a strike on Iran, and such a strike can occur with no further GEOINT warning,” the report states. In English, that means that based upon scrutiny of satellite, aircraft, and drone imagery, NGA doesn’t necessarily have the tools (by itself) to provide what they call “actionable” intelligence, to warn of an Israeli strike. It is raw reporting that has to be combined with that of other agencies – NSA, CIA, DIA, and on and on – for a full picture. ... The second intelligence report is titled “Israel: Air Force Continues Preparations for Strike on Iran and Conducts a Second Large-Force Employment Exercise.” The document details Israeli activities during an evident “mission rehearsal” (in U.S. lingo) that could be indicative of how Israel will strike Iran. Citing imagery analysis and other sources, the NGA report notes that the Israeli Air Force is already conducting covert drone operations over Iran (evidently doing its own spying), and how, as part of Israeli Air Force activity, has been handling air-launched ballistic missiles and other weapons.

The letter also suggests that Jordan, a Republican and a close ally of former President Donald Trump, was as hypocritical as a skunk who tells a possum that his breath stinks. The person would need to run in a halfway decent national political environment. And even with all of those boxes checked, that rare Democrat would still need to square off against an extraordinarily disliked Republican running a lackluster campaign without much support from the person's own colleagues. Enter: Rep. Colin Allred. Allred's [remarkable debate performance](https://www.msnbc.com/jose-diaz-balart/watch/-lying-ted-was-back-colin-allred-on-his-tense-debate-with-sen-cruz-221889605758) Tuesday spawned a flurry of Instagram slides, TikTok videos and X posts. Both in Texas and nationwide, news feeds have been flush this week with clips of the former professional football player **rebuking Sen. Ted Cruz for hiding in a "supply closet" during the attempted insurrection at the U.S. Capitol --- a riot by a mob that Cruz himself helped whip up**. Others showed him repeatedly referencing the time **Cruz flew to Cancun, Mexico, as hundreds of Texans died during the middle of a winter freeze, or hammering him on his abortion stance** --- an issue critical to white female voters who have been [abandoning the GOP](https://nytimes.com/video/us/politics/100000009729442/abortion-bans-republicans-trump.html) [in droves](https://thebarbedwire.com/2024/10/09/she-voted-for-trump-then-she-had-two-terrifying-miscarriages-in-texas/). But an impressive debate performance alone is not enough for a Democrat to win a state like Texas. However, polls, fundraising and a changing political climate have all looked promising for Allred. Today, Texas Democrats are in an extraordinary situation, one that has proved elusive over the past three decades: They have an actual chance of winning a statewide race.
