Network repeater/extender with ethernet INPUT

So i need something that extends my network range but beaucause the thick concrete walls wifi doesnt travel very good and far. Powerline adapters are something i also dont want since ive always experienced slower speeds with them. In the past i bought a router and connected that with my modem via ethernet but now i want something that doesnt force me to connect to a different network name so something mesh like Problem is maybe i dont know the specefic term for it or that just doesnt exist qo if any of you can help me would be apreciated. TLDR need a wifi "extender" that gets its signal via ethernet, not wireless, not powerline
