I'm actually not using mastadon. Jerboa is an app that let's you Access Lemmy. I guess it could be considered like Apollo for Reddit.
I did try using !pf2general@pathfinder.social I'm search bar to subscribe to it, but for some reason nothing is showing up. It might be a problem with Jerboas search function. I might just have to use a browser to subscribe those those communities before being able to use Jerboa to view them. Thank you for your reply.
Hello, I decided to join Lemmy through FMHY as my main instance. I've been trying to add pathfinder.social to my subscribed instances using the search. !pathfinder.social. But the instance won't actually show up. I tried on Jerboa. Then I tried through Chrome but the search brings up posts that have it as a topic but not the instance itself. Still very new to Lemmy so I'm sure I'm doing something wrong I'm just not sure what. I'd appreciate any advice.

Thank you for the suggestions! Would you know why i can't find them using search?
Basically the title. I've tried using the search feature (using Jerboa), but it seems to not want to load anything or takes a long time to load. I might be using it incorrectly though considering I'm new to Jerboa and Lemmy in general.
