@flashlight for those asking why I'm not on the pictures, working with the others, I was going back and forth from the stage with equipment, because the stage and backstage are 1,10m above the floor, and van, with no elevator or stairs nearby :D
3000 K BraTS10 and 4500 K DD MT21C lighting up the inside of a van while loading up the theater set and equipment. The van was otherwise not lit at all on the inside. @cobysev @GraniteM I have a french version from 1942 and modded it with a pretty low power, 2700~3000 K single LED drop-in, and more importantly a 18650 battery with integrated USB charging. I built a cheap 2D-18650 adapter by hollowing a piece of wood from the bottom and putting a flat-cut screw through the top to make contact. My grandpa use it and is happy with it. Way more runtime, bit more light, same temp.

Then, since I purchased the LED already soldered on a MCPCB, I desoldered the stock one, ground a bit the new one to fit, soldered the wires back on the new MCPCB and voilà. Changed the thermal paste too.

Two vise clamps and lots of brute force, I finally disassembled the head of a MT21C, which is a great light with shitty emitter and beam. What emitter should I swap for ? 3.45mm square, 2.79 Vf typical, 3 amps. I like 4000 k and high CRI. [@flashlight](https://lemmy.world/c/flashlight)

I used it continuously in candle mode @ high with the original silicone diffuser for a video shoot, and found the battery looking like that, opening the light right after stepdown (and almost burning my fingers).
