Obviously, I'm unqualified to diagnose myself with EDS, but there's several signs I'm seeing after reading the article posted here, and family members bringing it up as a potential cause/link to another medical condition of mine. At the end of this month I have a new patient intake appointment with a Primary Care Physician (US healthcare unfortunately.) I'd like to ask them to help me determine if I might have a form of EDS. I've known since I was a child that I have hypermobility, but never knew EDS was even a thing or that it could impact other areas of health and the body, and the more I read into it the more "symptoms" I find that I just thought were odd but part of my funky physiology (scarring, bruising, digestion, foot pain have stood out the most.) As I'm reading more and more into the forms of EDS and its traditional testing methods, I can't help but wonder if this doctor (or most others) will be hesitant or refuse to test for it. I'm not looking to get much more than knowledge for myself concerning the way my body behaves; I certainly don't expect or want a doctor to diagnose me and start throwing treatments on it. This leads me to my question(s): Has anyone here that's been diagnosed with a form of EDS felt they were largely dismissed by their doctors, regarding EDS or testing? Also, for those that have been diagnosed, do you feel the diagnosis was ultimately helpful or hurtful to you and/or your treatment during medical care? TIA

Not all ARM chips are in phones, nor are they all locked down like one. There are several ARM devices and SBCs now where switching OSes is as easy as swapping out an SD card. Most do use uboot as a standard and some are even capable of utilizing UEFI.

Location info shouldn't be needed, though. (Even though they should technically be able retrieve location data from any terminal on their own already. It's all their hardware and network.) They should be able to geoblock traffic from Ukraine/Russia while having a kind of Allow filter for the terminals they know they provided for use by Ukraine.
It's the same concept as blocking a country's domains but allowing certain domains of that country through for emails. They just need to setup a "spam" filter.

Yup. It's damn near impossible not too lol here's my current mess. Naturally I had to pay tribute to the man who never betrayed anyone with the paint. It was also a lot of fun finding out the rx-124 "legs" + the v2 backpack make effortless gliding instead of walking. You just float everywhere 😂

I haven't played online yet, I like to make sure I have a good handle on the game before doing that. But so far the single player has been pretty fun. I'm enjoying making some of the fugliest gundams that whoop in battles and painting them up like they aren't some frankensteined mess 😂

They do well as light work machines. Mines done some weird stuff, and Ive subjected it to various things, but it keeps on trucking. Worst it's ever done is reset on me, but logging in brought back everything important.
That script has an option to install coreboot in it's TUI. But it only works on x86, arm Chromebooks aren't supported by the utility

Getting a Chromebook to run Linux is pretty easy these days with MrChromebox's utility https://docs.mrchromebox.tech/
As to the main purpose of your post, I use fedora on my Pinebook pro and it works great. Though with the lack of resources compared to x86 laptops, many things can be slow to start, like browsers. Id never use it to try and watch videos online, it's a painful experience.
I also have an older Chromebook with a Celeron powering it, and it sips power. I can forget to charge it for a week, grab it, and still have a few hours of battery I can use.

I do. It's nice. Just earlier I used teleport to remote in and setup a docker container, while out. It's certainly the biggest advantage to me, having a one click/tap VPN connection to a network. It's helped me out several times at home and work.

I have a project I'm doing where a small hobby board has connectors for different things, including LEDs. I don't want to use the original LED strip, and would like to make a single LED that plugs into the board instead, but I don't know how to identify/find this connector. Can anyone help?

I'm curious if anyone has tried alternative OSes on an EOL Chromebook? Ive read using brunch can keep them receiving updates (without losing Android/Linux containers) I tried out bliss is from a live usb last night and it was okay. Honestly the 3 launcher options just send to compete with each other. Anyone tried any others out? If so, which ones, what was your experience like?
This thing was a simple kit made into a beast with the way I went about layering blacks to get one that was slightly lighter than black-black and kept some of the metallic of the base coat. I'd have done another but it wouldn't go with what I have planned for it without the different head types for the V. Oh well, 2/3 done! This is my take on the Victory coloring for the Rear Shrike Corps from Crossbone Ghost.
HG Zaku II C5 (bc I can't find a C6) for Font Baud in the Crossbone Ghost scene I'm now putting together. I didn't like the greens used in the kit, so I grabbed some cans of Valejo Goblin Green and Russian Green. The grey's/blacks/browns were painted with Testor's Graphite Grey Metallic. The backpack was painted with Testor's Diamond Dust and given a couple of quick sprays of Ironlak Black Techie, for texture. Bc this is the only suit of the 3 that's "old," I used an acrylic Satin topcoat to give it a fuller look compared to the X0 and V that will accompany it. Since the Zaku is the only non-combatant in the 4-way fight of Crossbone Ghost, I grabbed a box of Build Hands Round. I was a little surprised when I got them, as all the small, medium, and large options were noticeably different in size from the hands included with the Zaku kit. In the end, I went with the medium, as they were closest (smaller, but still closest.) In my now-fashion, I gave it a coat of paint, this time in more places than I usually do. Every piece of the internal frame got painted this time around. I did not paint the yellows bc it's an iconic color to me and I haven't found the right metallic yellow (I don't want gold) yet. I also used a few glitter coats of differing glitter fineness. The finest one was used on the yellows as a light coat to give it some shimmer. I actually really wanted this puppy to shimmer. I used the medium fine to spray on the psycho frame pieces, as well as on the funnel stand segments closest to the flying fins, and the coarser glitter spray on the segments closest to the stand. I was hoping to kind of recreate the summer trail left behind psycho controlled funnels. I also got some of the newer style LED pucks for MG so I decided this guy should have one! Some things I noticed when building this big boi: Articulation is awesome! The few color changing stickers were a very welcome change to the foil stickers of HGs. They were super sticky and pliable. It found it to be no problem using a lil extra thumb force to get a lil stretch on then in areas they didn't quite reach far enough. I also didn't realize they were even part of the kit until opening it, so I ended up painting the light grey ones to match the light silver I used. These suckers are not built to hold 6 funnels on one shoulder without great care. If 6 fins are on the backpack and it's placed on the stand, it leans lol it's not a snug fit to the back/backpack from the stand. I did get the P-Bandai double funnel set to go with this (I know I didn't config the Nu for double fins on the backpack, but I like that cool sabre 😎) and the dang fins just don't want to stay shut enough to keep the lil effects in place (as seen in the gallery) The double fin set also came with 🥁🥁🥁 an exact duplicate of the stand included with the Ver.Ka 🤦♂️ SoI guess I have a spare now 🤷♂️ Overall a great build! Now it's time to move on to the HG "scene" from Crossbone Ghost I've been planning!
I’m having a bit of a hard time with this, but I also acknowledge this is still relatively niche still. I’d like to make printed recreations of some parts that I currently have. They’re unfortunately a bit complex to quickly recreate manually in a sculpting software. I do have an iPad PRo and a budget for any additional hardware to help. I was hoping I could find a carousel I could connect to the iPad Pro and use and app to control the carousel and scan the parts. I’m not finding anything. Can anyone recommend a good setup to make 3D scans of these small parts, or an app/hardware combo that could help me accomplish this?
Now that Im in a new place and have new shelves, I thought it was finally time to bring home the rest of my HG collection from my office

Got this thinking it was an HG kit, and opaque (Amazon seller had an incorrect listing.) Turns out it's not HG. Reminds me of the couple of no grades I've got. Overall cool, and only one unused piece, but hard to keep the legs on. The translucent plastic feels pretty brittle and the stress/sanding marks are seemingly impossible to get out. If I knew more about the specifics of this kit before buying, I probably wouldn't have. But I did, I built it, and Domon spent long enough for his brother. No need keeping them apart now!
Got these printed up by a friend at a sign shop. Took a while to cut bc the transparencies were thicker than normal. xacto wasn't doing the trick well enough for me, so I had to take my time with small scissors. They all fit the stands well (despite some slight warping I'm choosing to get over now. they've been hit with a coat each of a small and large flake clear coat, and the top coat is now drying. All that remains now is sucking it up and modifying the A5 piece that attaches to the core lander. I'm thinking I'll probably wait to try that until my second A5 piece has been confirmed to have started it's journey from Japan. I'd hate to mess this up and have to sit and brood on that without an ETA for a replacement to the very vital last piece.
I swear they made these 2 HGs with what I’m doing in mind lol The only modding I had to do to the gundam was cutting and separating the front skirts. The back skirt was already designed to be able to tilt upwards at the waist. Next up is drilling slots for a slightly modified sun rings attachment to fit onto the core fighter for the full effect!
