So... blocking an instance as a user just hides the instances communities, if I'm remembering the implementation details right. It doesn't block interaction with the instances users. Stupidly misleading.
You'll still need to block the users one by one.

Add the extra layer of my mother not appreciating my interests and thinking what I now do for a living was a waste of time... And a dash of expecting me to somehow just be able to perfectly do chores they never taught me how to do when I was young. Yes, this is the first time I've ever mopped a floor at 17 years old. How the fuck is that my fault?

Man, you young folks must not have been around for E3, or all the various leaked E3 presentation builds of games over the years.
You can pull off some amazing looking stuff with just scripting the hell out of everything and only showing what you want people to see. Toss in some obviously unfinished stuff to make it all look more legit.
Gameplay "demos" that are not open to the public to mess with are just ad reel by another name.

Can I kindly introduce you to an old games industry expo called E3? It's not hard to make something look good in a controlled environment.

The difference in playstyles was such a surprise to me when I set up a coop game for my wife and I.
I had been doing a modded playthrough with slightly extended days. I'd upkeep my crops, then clear a bit of land, forage until my energy was low, and then go run around town, chat with townies, use forage as gifts, etc.
My wife had been playing for a while when it was on gamepass, but I hadn't really watched how she played. She'd do everything on the farm, then refill her energy with food or the hot springs, and keep grinding on the farm or in the mines. Townies who?

Corporations are only publicly as right or left politically as helps their profits and PR, outside of some exceptions with CEOs that overestimate their importance (see Musk).
Disney repeatedly blames right wingers for the failure of their more diverse programming, yet removed/minimized John Boyega in the Chinese releases of the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy. They're just one of the most obvious examples, not an exception or anything.

I did not ask you to or insinuate that you should kill yourself. Complete lie.
You stated multiple times that you wanted to shoot him because he used the excuse that "it's just a game". That's a thin distinction at best.
You also use a separate account for your normal posting than your admin account, which feels needlessly sneaky.
Look, taking down the post was right call, and removing him from the mod position for arguing about it too. But the rest of this?
Telling someone that you want to injure them, then going on a multiple paragraph rant that is more about dunking on someone and venting than actually trying to inform isn't a good look for an admin.
I can't read their full responses that you deleted, but what you quoted from them reads like the kind of scared "stop yelling at me I don't understand what I did wrong please don't hit me" responses I gave to my mother while she was busy giving me reasons for therapy.
Normal users can get away with this sort of aggressive behavior because they don't have a position of power, but you do. You are inherently setting the example of what you want from your users and it's not a good look from the outside.
Now let's see if this criticism gets me banned too... hope not.

Wow, the cope is real. People have to be mad to call out the problems with a game?
Be honest, how much money have you spent on it?

Create the metrics that show RTO reduces productivity. It's the only thing they even pretend to care about.
wizardbeard 2d ago • 66%
So... most workplaces? Most companies have department wide goals and metrics that don't change just because half of a department walks. Even in good workplaces, hiring to "right size" a team takes time, and most of the time the work still needs to be done, and there's only so far management can stretch until it starts impacting external customers.
It sucks terribly. It's not fair. Life isn't.

More of an intentional choice they made, but Michael Cera's portrayal of Scott Pilgrim in the movie.
In the comics, Scott was a nerd, but was more of a jerk than awkward. There were a decent amount of flashbacks about Scott being the best brawler in Toronto and beating up entire school's worth of "bullies". Effectively a nerd that got tired of being bullied and started beating up people in response.
The comics don't skim over Scott's shitty behavior, and he gets called out on it far more frequently, keeping that aspect of his character fresh.
They also don't skim over Ramona being a mess either.
In the movie, Scott is awkward and nerdy (Cera's typecast at the time), and it's played like he doesn't know what he's doing is wrong (dating a highschooler as an adult, cheating on her with Ramona, beating up the person she leaves him for, etc).
Ramona's issues are skimmed over for the sake of her being a stereotype "manic pixie dreamgirl" rather than a deeply insecure woman running from each and every mistake she's made over the years.
So it's more of a case of "intentional streamlining and dumbing down character traits to fit into the expected romcom roles" than cool character being ruined by the actor, but at first watch it felt like the changes were all from Cera's performance.

That is not how your initial comment is worded, hence the downvotes. It has no consideration for those who can't, and your immediate response doesn't have that consideration either.

As always, there will be ways to point Windows Update at the long term support channels meant for government and people who have contracted support with Microsoft.
CoPilot and Recall are both disable-able, and I beilieve CoPilot can be fully uninstalled. If you don't have a Pro license for Windows (giving you access to Group Policy) it's a good idea to use MASGrave to activate as Pro for free. Most of these settings are best controlled through Group Policy, as that is Microsoft's official tool meant for SysAdmins to manage this zort of thing.
Still, terrible look for Microsoft, great time to try Linux. Just not so end of the world as a lot of articles seem to indicate.

Not everyone has been following this shit as deeply as you may have.

Crap, the gallery is a booru site. God only knows how much data that is.
The Library is some sort of custom coded thing, but download links for book scans lead offsite to https://resha.re/accords/library/scans/
Looks like an open directory down to the root, so some of this might be easy.
Yoko Taro is the creative director behind the Nier and Drakengard series, and he has released a lot of supplemental material across a variety of mediums over the years in Japan. While we are sad to have to go, we also must respect the wishes of the Legal Team. The Library and Gallery will remain opened for the next 2 weeks and will be officially closed on Oct 31. We hope to continue spending time with you all, and other fans in the future through our Discord Server, which we plan to keep opened. On behalf of the entire Council for Accord's Library, we sincerely thank you for your support and friendship over the years. Please crosspost this to the various data hoarder and archival communities here! It would suck for this content to be lost, and I can't imagine it would be ridiculously hard to pull it all down and toss it in a zip on archive.org
Now that romhacking.net is (effectively) dead, what sites are everyone using to keep up with new releases? Have any of the fan continuation projects really risen beyond simply rehosting the DB that was put up on archive.org?
Probably need this disclaimer before half the shit I say.

Soichi Terada is a House music artist who was popular in Japan in the 90s. Outside of Japan, he's mostly known for his soundtrack work on the PS1 game Ape Escape. This is one of his covers/arrangements/remixes, where he plays around with elements of another song. Not quite sure what to classify it as, otherwise I'd label it in the title. I find his music to have a pretty distinct style, and I like using it as background while I study, code, or do other work.
I'm looking for a free, reputable ad blocker on the Play Store. Something that does local host/filter list filtering using the VPN feature, like Blokada 4 or 5 (before they started cloud hosting the filtering features as a money/data grab). Personally, I'm no stranger to F-Droid or Obtanium and even have dipped my toes into ADB. I need this for family members when they start asking, so I can point them at something decent that won't try to fleece them and get on with my life unburdened by family tech support hell. Something they can install through the Play Store they already have and easily switch on and off if something they "need" isn't working. So that eliminates just setting their DNS to an ad blocking one in their Wi-Fi settings. Wouldn't follow them off that specific connection, and wouldn't be an easy toggle if something broke.
[Microsoft's documentation](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/enterprise-users/users-revoke-access) for revoking user access from Azure AD currently references cmdlets from the AzureAD PowerShell module, which will be deprecated on June 30th. Microsoft reccomends using the MSGraph module or API as a replacement for the AzureAD module, but I'm having a hell of a time with it. I'm trying to figure out how to use PoweShell to wipe corporate data off a user's BYODs, and I'm stuck trying to get a list of a user's BYODs through Graph. Ultimately this will be part of automation kicked off when a user leaves the company. Queries for devices and managed devices for a given user seem to be missing devices that are shown through Azure Portal when looking at a user in Azure AD and then looking at their devices. The query for deleting data is also unclear in whether it wipes the whole device or just corporate data. Does anyone have any resources or guidance on this? Most of what I'm finding is outdated or too vague for me to be comfortable utilizing it.
