According to the second video I linked, a resident of Kowloon spent the better part of six years mapping out the city. Here's the timestamp: https://youtu.be/PcSBOUpgngM?t=794
I came across a video on Youtube discussing it (there are several), and Kowloon Walled City is just endlessly fascinating. A few notable videos I found on the subject were: [The Densest City on Earth](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YuNvIfM-YA) [Kowloon Walled City: Hong Kong's City of Darkness](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PcSBOUpgngM) [Inside Hong Kong's Kowloon Walled City](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fd56CGnVRU) There is also a book on the city called [City Of Darkness Life In Kowloon Walled City](https://archive.org/details/city-of-darkness-life-in-kowloon-walled-city-1993), which I found on archive.org in high resolution. It is full of photographs and detailed accounts of the comings and goings within the enclave.

I mean the man is directly responsible for blocking several Supreme Court justices from being appointed while Obama was president, which led to roe v wade being overturned so uh, Moscow Mitch couldn’t drop dead any faster in my opinion.

I’ve got 40 hours in this game. It’s a good game, especially with friends.
I don't know who needs to hear this where, but being able to sort a user's comments by controversial would be a quick way to get a gauge on how generally inflammatory a user is when moderating one of their comments.

Am I on your blocklist? I’ve done some cross posting of my own content. Things have settled down now, but I know for awhile there it wasn’t really clear which communities were going to take off.

The title of this article seems rather sensational and misleading because it doesn’t cite or explain the 8 million cars anywhere and neither does the study it’s sourcing as far as I can tell. A quick web search says 8 million cars is 1/4 of all the cars on the road in the United Kingdom. That seems like too large of a number.

Oh I know. I’ve just been burned many times in the past with upgrading iOS on older phones so I generally avoid it these days until I have a compelling reason to upgrade. Forced obsolescence and all that

Thanks for the quick reply! I just wanted to confirm it wasn’t something superficial. I’ll look into updating and see what the performance hit looks like

Why does it require iOS 16? I am on 15.7 on an iPhone SE Second generation

If I had a nickel for every post I’ve seen asking this question in the last 60 seconds, I’d have two nickels.
Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird it happened twice. Check out Voyager because it just got this feature today.

A bunch of generic Concerta drugs were removed from the market awhile back and several more sprung up. They’re nowhere near the same and the quality is garbage. I was on one in college while on state insurance. They use some older release mechanism from like the 80s using a pinhole on one side and half of my true generic pills didn’t even have a visible hole. I ended up in the ER because one released all at once at like 7pm, and I thought I was dying due to excessive adrenaline.

I have no clue what out of pocket is these days, but my insurance only charges me $12 for name brand Concerta. I know at one time there was an authorized generic sold by Janssen I believe was their name, but it’s still the same patented pill. That might be what my prescription is filled as.
PSA for anyone who cares: Authorized Generics are the name brand sold cheaper. True Generics are a completely different pill sold as “bio-identical”.
Don’t quote me on this last bit, but I believe bio identical only has to be like 80% similar, which is why so many generics cause so many problems for so many people

Sounds like you’re on Ritalin? You might try name brand Concerta (NO GENERICS!!). It’s just extended release Ritalin in a fancy patented delivery mechanism that all the generics can’t copy. It lasts all day and I just have to remember to take it before noon once per day.

The last comma should have been a period. For some reason on that particular font the period showed up in the center of the line instead of at the bottom and it looked really weird.
Edit: for what it’s worth, the original meme had a comma too for some reason

Au contraire. I think these fuckers breathe a little too much because I turned to stone lol
In true antique meme fashion, I pulled out the outdated pirated copy of photoshop that I have no idea how to use for this one.
I am looking to make some last minute purchases to play with one or more friends, and I have poked around [Steam's Co-Op page](https://store.steampowered.com/category/multiplayer_coop/?flavor=contenthub_toprated). I'm curious what new co-op games everyone on Lemmy is playing. I just picked up Raft and Deep Rock Galactic the other day, but you can never have too many new (never played) games!
For all the chocolate lovers out there, careful because effectively all dark chocolates have lead and cadmium in them. Lead is especially dangerous and some brands have alarmingly high amounts.

It was in a small lake in Washington, and I noticed it as I was about to drive home.

(Posting to lemmy.world seems to be disabled so I'm posting this here instead.) This inconsistency has been bothering me, so I went poking around in their support community, and the best I could find was a statement saying they had reached out to the admins of both. Apparently they expected [@ruud@lemmy.world](https://lemmy.world/u/ruud) to reply to something that didn't seem like a question as [indicated by his response in Beehaw Support](https://beehaw.org/comment/298646). As such, they claim to have no roadmap to eventually refederate with lemmy.world. [I added a reply](https://beehaw.org/comment/300988) from another instance, but I'm guessing I won't receive a reponse so if anyone knows, I would like to better understand the issue. It's quite annoying feeling like I'm missing out, especially when I'm seeing inflammatory overly generalized statements from kbin.social users about how lemmy.world deserved to be defederated over in [this post on lemmy.ml](https://lemmy.world/post/302384).
