I mean, I’d rather help build another community with Blackjack and LLTStore.com personally, but I fully support anyone who wants to cross post there!
Posted by LMGcommunity on the LTT Forums. >After thoroughly reviewing each LTT video containing Labs data or analysis, we have arrived at the following results. > > - Of the 32 videos reviewed, 25 contained Labs Test Data. > - Of these 25 reviews, Labs has determined that in the T1 category, (2) videos should be removed until we can verify the results with a second test system. We also determined that (2) videos contained charts that should be completely replaced after verification of the test results. > - In the T2 category, Labs verified that the data is correct, but we have 24 corrections to make to 21 graphs that contain process errors on the charts. Process errors included transposed numbers, numbers rounded incorrectly, incorrectly labelled tests/components and cross entry into the wrong charts. These errors are being addressed with continuous process changes, including Labs taking over all charting responsibilities and hiring specialized personnel. We have noticed a significant drop in errors discovered and/or released over the past few weeks. > - In the T3 category, we discovered eight typos that included reversed label descriptions and/or incorrect information like the number of PCIe lanes in a spec chart. While these are pinned comments, we are working on correcting the videos for now. > >As discussed in the video today, this post or workbook will not be updated.

To be honest, I'm less concerned about speed, and more about the working conditions at LMG and the quality/accuracy of their videos. I think the sentiment is the same, but I don't think speed, in and of itself, is a bad thing.

It is! Link is in the post, but I’ll try to make it more clear I’m quoting the forum.
[Source LTT Forum Post Titled: Weekly Sponsor Concerns Update - Aug 25, 2023](https://linustechtips.com/topic/1528202-weekly-sponsor-concerns-update-aug-25-2023/) >Hey everyone, > >Please see below for our first weekly sponsor update! If you have any questions or concerns, we would advise centralizing feedback into our main "Sponsor Complaints" thread. That way we don't have to maintain updates across 52 of these weekly updates by this time next year. > >Secretlab We're still keeping communication going with the folks over at Secretlab regarding the support service end of their products. We don’t have any new information to share at this time, but we will keep the dialogue going. > >Volta We saw there was an additional Volta post. We apologize for any issues people are experiencing, and we want to clarify that we’re no longer partnered with them. > >BuildRedux >Regarding the RMA issue posted earlier this week, we'll see if we can be put in contact with their customer support in case there are larger issues with their RMA process. This is a partnership that Geoff oversees, so he may be in contact with the poster next week to gather some additional information regarding the shipping of the label if needed. While we have no reason to believe they're using parts previously used for mining, perhaps we need to check in on their RMA policy to make sure delays aren't their standard. > >Anker >I believe we are at day 225 or so of asking to be taken off all of their sites. We were removed from taken off their primary landing page last week, but we are still waiting and requesting to be removed from their different Amazon pages as well. Our team was in contact with Anker as of Tuesday about the matter, and we will keep everyone updated. > > >We recently posted our sponsor "Do Not Work With" list here on the forum, and will be updating it as needed. We think it's important that our audience better understand our processes for vetting new sponsors. > >Part of that process is vetting through the community. We regularly post potential sponsors on the board to see if any one of you has experience with the different brands that reach out to us, and we take that into consideration before engaging. Ideally we'd love to get every single item in to try it firsthand, but time and manpower doesn't always allow for that, so it's important for us to get a temperature check on something before having it brought in to try or test. > >Thanks for reading this, and thanks for your fairness and patience while we work with our different partners to try to better the field as a whole. > >Until next Friday!

Can’t find anything else on this game, and I’m pretty sure this article was written by ChatGPT…

In case anyone, like me, wants a source for Pence refusing to get in the car with the Secret Service. It’s from the book “I Alone Can Fix It.”

The “terrified” part is speculation, but potentially true.

To be honest, I’m pretty sure you just read a summary of this video and didn’t watch it. Especially if you think Ian went easy on LTT over the Madison events.

YouTube link if you’d prefer to not use Piped:
Dr. Ian Cutress’ take on the Gamers Nexus video and the drama surrounding LMG. Seems like a level-headed response of the situation, and a bit of a rebuke on Gamers Nexus’ flaws.

Jokes on you! I’m hyper-focusing on that shit. Card games and board games are my jam.

I don’t have interest in prolonged discussion today, but I would like to point you to Wikipedia’s surprisingly good article on Abraham Lincoln and slavery.

I’ve found this quote from Lincoln to be illustrative.
“If I could save the Union without freeing any slave I would do it, and if I could save it by freeing all the slaves I would do it; and if I could save it by freeing some and leaving others alone I would also do that. What I do about slavery, and the colored race, I do because I believe it helps to save the Union; and what I forbear, I forbear because I do not believe it would help to save the Union.”
I also find the fact that the Emancipation Proclamation did not free slaves living in border States, but only States that seceded to corroborate this.
That being said, Lincoln had long been know to oppose slavery and supported its abolition.

So I haven’t seen any of what you are talking about, and I’m an avid consumer of NPR. I love that they generally avoid rage bait and present the news in a calm yet accurate manner.
That being said, I am open to being persuaded if you can present some solid evidence.

I'll bite, here's a little list of the top of my head.
- They've had a failed invasion of Ukraine
- Rampant corruption
- Putin is getting old and frail
- Russia has a struggling economy where "Fortress Russia" is starting to fall short
- Drone strikes from Ukraine have been able to target major Russian cities.
- There was a mini-coup attempt by one of Putin's closest allies where a standing army nearly made it to Moscow while shooting down multiple Russian military aircraft.

Yeah, the man literally had a show on RT. He’s problematic at best.

I'm personally curious to see how deep the replies can go on Lemmy. The app on my phone already crapped out.

I appreciate the take. It's not a great feeling to have "the side" you feel like you are on rail at you for trying to set the record straight.
It feels weird to say this, but I wonder if the "Tankies" from certain instances color Lemmy as a whole. If so, that makes me worried for the future of Lemmy. I really don't want this to be the Far Left version of The_Donald or Truth Social.

Let's back up for a second.
Can you definite what you understand "common sense" to be.
Also, do you think "common sense" varies between cultures?
SnowdropDelusion 1y ago • 75%
Is it though? An appeal to common sense has been used to justify any number of horrors historically. It depends heavily on the culture you are in.
Debate is most certainly used to persuade and test the strength of an argument. In debate, however, common sense is sometimes used in place of logical reasoning for things the speaker believes should simply be understood.
This feels like a true return to form. Hoping for more episodes like this in the coming seasons!
